Our Priorities and Vision for Fundraising
Budget management at Pinhoe is a challenging area of school leadership. Recent years have seen the majority of schools facing budget cuts, as school staffing and other expenditure costs, continue to rise.
At Pinhoe, financial management is monitored and strategically planned, by senior staff. The overall aim to continue to provide the best possible educational experience for all of the children, attending our school.
Fundraising is a key part of this objective, so we can continue to invest in resources for the children, which we would otherwise not be able to afford.
We achieve this each year through:
- applying for grants
- generating income through our incredible PTFA team
- Corporate sponsorship and donations
- lettings of our school premises (in times other than during COVID 19)
Our priority for the current academic year is to continue to invest in ICT and other curriculum resources, for the children. In December 2020, we received 60 new chrome books! We would like to order more chrome books in the Spring Term of 2022 and will continue to apply for grants, partner and collaborate with the PTFA and other organisations, to achieve this goal. If you have any ideas for fundraising, please contact Joanne Scannell, Senior Administrator, who works as part of our Business Management team, on a Monday and Tuesday.
