Welcome to the Computing Curriculum page for Pinhoe CofE Primary School.
At Pinhoe C of E Primary School, we facilitate a high quality, engaging and practical
computing curriculum that provides children with all the skills needed in an increasingly
technical world. We acknowledge that future generations will rely heavily on their
computational confidence and digital skills in order to support their progress within their
chosen career paths. Therefore, we aim to equip children with the relevant skills and
knowledge that are required to understand the three core areas of Computing: Computer
Science, Information Technology information and Digital Literacy. In addition, we understand
that we live in an ever-changing world where children’s access to digital media is a part of
daily life. Therefore, all children will be taught how to stay safe online.
