Vision & Values: Our Promise to Children
“Living life in all its fullness, together in mind, body and spirit”
Our mission statement is underpinned by the following passage from the Bible:
“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”John 10:10b
At Pinhoe C of E Primary School, our mission statement, vision, and values serve as the cornerstones of who we are and what we do. Aligning our Core Values and Learning Heroes with our Curriculum; we aim to empower all children for their future lives within the sanctuary of a Christian foundation.
Over the past few months, we have revised our prior vision and values in light of recent reflection, in order to better serve the Pinhoe family and the larger community.
We have entitled this new vision as our Pinhoe Promises to all Children:
Children, teachers, and parents collaborate at Pinhoe to guarantee that we produce well-rounded citizens for our future generations, securing their spiritual, moral, cultural, mental, and physical development through access to our broad and balanced curriculum, enriching experiences and community relationship building opportunities.
We have aligned these promises in accordance with the four elements of the Church of England Vision for Education:
- Educating for wisdom, knowledge and skills
- Educating for hope and aspiration
- Educating for community and living well together
- Educating for dignity and respect
Our Core Values
The Pinhoe family is centred around our Core Values of respect, thankfulness, perseverance, honesty, forgiveness, and love. They are acknowledged as being a part of daily routines and provide the framework for how we live and behave in our community.
Within our Christian community, we work to foster a love of learning and respect for one another, enabling and allowing children and people to thrive in the school environment while using our Core Values as an integral guide.
